A: Kickstarter is a crowd-funding website that allows us to raise funds for our first production run of TETRAN furniture while pre-selling our product.
A: The seat cushion is a combination of 5” polyurethane support foam with a 3” top layer of high-density memory, and the back cushion is a medium-soft polyurethane foam for incomparable support and comfort.
A: 12mm Acrylic Glass, or Polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA) for the science buffs. It is a lightweight and shatter-resistant alternative to glass.
A: A durable, stain resistant poly-cotton blend.
A: Material options outside of those offered above (Acrylic Glass Tx_Panels and Cotton-Poly Blend Cx_Covers) have been developed, but are not available for mass production at this stage. A: ¾ “ E1 Medium Density Fiber Board (E1 MDF). Made of recycled and recyclable materials, E1 MDF is nearly twice as dense (and therefore twice as strong) as the particle board that IKEA uses to make their furniture and E1 MDF is temperature and moisture resistant—again, IKEA not so much. The melamine veneer provides added durability and ease of cleaning.
A: Acrylonitrile butadiene stryrene (ABS)—the same seemingly indestructible material used to make LEGOs! While the cost of producing ABS is roughly twice the cost of producing polystyrene, it is considered superior for its hardness, gloss, and toughness.

A: Cubes come flat-packed to your door by ground delivery service. When you open up the boxes the cubes are pre-oriented for assembly, so all you have to do is pull them out and put in the fastening screws (all the same screw). Once the cubes are constructed they are easily fastened together with our Lx_Locks in any design configuration you choose. Instructions with several sample designs for you to choose from will accompany your order. A: A power drill or power screw driver with a Phillips-head bit (#2 Pozi drive bit) , and an Allen (hex) key.
